I took a trip to Vancouver island last May to visit a friend who lives out there, this was my first time visiting the west coast. I've always been a fan of the X-Files and Stargate SG-1 and always liked the scenery of the on site locations they would film at(X-Files and Stargate were filmed in Vancouver BC on the main land) and always wanted to visit the area. Walking threw the Old Growth forest near Parksville was amazing all I wanted to do was wonder into the forest(not to far) and just sit on a log near a stream for hours on end.
